On naukri.com it recognises job pages and watches for an application being submitted; when it sees one, it saves the posting with its title, company, location, description and link, and marks it Applied with today's date. Opening a job never creates a record - only applying does. The same is true on LinkedIn (including Easy Apply), Indeed India and the applicant tracking systems most company career pages use, such as Greenhouse, Lever and Workday.
